Giclée is an elegant, state-of-the-art method of reproduction which provides a vibrant color rendition of an original painting. Resulting from the marriage of art and modern technology, giclée canvases faithfully reflect the vibrant color, rich detail and texture of the original oil painting. “Giclée,” a French printmaker’s term for “fine spray,” was adopted to distinguish the technique from ordinary offset printing. Giclée canvases have a 50 year warranty. Banovich giclées are offered in three sizes. Each canvas is numbered, hand-signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity as well as care instructions.
Studio Editions are the largest cnavases and are as close to the original size as possible, almost as if they were brought from the Banovich studio easel to your home. "I love painting large originals; the giclée technology allows us to capture the integrity of the large oil paintings beautifully." -John Banovich
Gallery Editions represent a variety of sizes, providing the truest performance of the original oil painting.
Zawadi Editions are the smallest canvases; their name means “precious gift” in Swahili. Zawadis are usually the exact size of the original and under 200 square inches.
At Banovich Art we believe that every artwork demands a correspondingly unique frame. Once matched, this complementary pairing elevates the visual experience beyond the initial beauty of the canvas. For select artwork, two types of frames are offered through our Alternative Frame Program. We offer Western Distressed and Artistbuilt frames hand crafted in old-world tradition, and Artisan frames with distinctive contemporary designs and sophisticated tradition. Each frame is designed with superior craftsmanship and attention to detail and all are made in the USA. Banovich Art is personally dedicated to working with you, your designer or architect to create a distinctive look for your home, gallery or office. Create the perfect look with a custom frame.
